Yet another open drawing for a sketchbook assignment. Well, my recent obsession with these guys is showing, mwah! LoL Anyway, I mainly drew this for my boyfriend, but I wanted to see if I could pull it off. I used the design on the 'Dookie' cd and with much help from many different pictures of the band this is what I came up with. I wanted to mix cartoony-ish with somewhat realistic qualities..:shrug:
I'm actually quite disappointed at how it came out, the only one that I think looks anything like the real person is Mike Dirnt..but oh well, I tried something new, and now I know!

i see wat u mean by realistic/cartoony qualities, thats usually very hard to do yet u did it very well!
